What documentation do I need to submit to transfer my Age 65 and Older or Disabled Person exemption?

The Transfer Request form is available on the Forms page.  You will need to submit a Homestead Exemption Application for the property you are transferring the exemption to. 

If the new property is in Dallas County, the Homestead exemption form is available from the details page of your account on our website.  You can search for you account here.

Both forms may also be obtained from our Customer Service Division or one can be requested by phone at 214-631-0910.
