What is the deadline to apply for an agricultural (ag) valuation?

The Agricultural application should be filed between January 1^st and April 30^th. 

Late applications can be received until the appraisal roll is certified (typically in mid-July), but a 10% penalty is added. 

The Texas Property Tax Code does not allow property owners to file for prior years.
